Christmas Carol Sing-a-long at Paddington Train Station.
We managed to secure a coveted spot on Paddington Station on TUESDAY 10TH DECEMBER at 4pm to 7pm bringing some festive cheer to the commuters coming off the train, so they can dig deep and donate to our cause.
Many thanks to all of you our carol singing volunteers to entertain and collect from the passers-by at Paddington Underground. We raised a huge £730.95. This was a terrific amount so, we’re now good to go with next year’s programme of work, which is excellent news. It was also great fun and in addition to the sum above we also took 5 Euros, 1 US cent, 25 Swiss Rappen and an Argentinian Peso! Thank you
Thames Tow Path 10 mile run!
On Sunday 14th April, West 4 Harriers annual club race is being held on the Fuller’s Thames Towpath Ten a popular 10 miler down the towpath. West 4 have organised this successfully for over 20 years and so this day is very special. The Thames Towpath runs between Chiswick and Richmond and starts at 08:30 and about 550 runners take part – since it is club organised, prices are only £17.50/£19.50 for affiliated/non-affiliated runners.
Prospective members are urged to come and try a few runs with us before committing to joining. If you do join, the annual fee is a mere £25. If you wish to race as a “West 4 Harrier” and be part of an affiliated club, the annual fee becomes £40. This additional £15 fee goes to England Athletics, who will issue you with your own EA number entitling you to a discount on race entry and at some running stores.
We are honoured that this popular run raises funds for Evergreen Africa and last year they raised a fantastic £1000 for us!

Come along to shop, drink prosecco, listen to some Afrobeats, and support a good cause with your friends. We will have a wine bar, an out door space, and an indoor chill area.
Look out for some treasures handmade from Uganda as well as preloved and new women’s clothes, shoes and accessories ranging from vintage buys, bargain finds, to big brands and designer numbers. Come join us for a drink and play a part in sustainable fashion or supporting our projects.
