Compliance

Evergreen Africa is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) registered by the Charity Commission in England and Wales (Reference 1160416) and recognised as a Charity by HMRC. It is governed by a Board of Trustees, working to a Constitution approved in February 2015 by the Charity Commission; a copy of the Constitution can be viewed here. The Board of Trustees delegates day-to-day management of the Charity to a Management Committee. The relationship between the Board and the Committee is detailed in a Governance Document which can be viewed here. The Governance Document incorporates the Code of Conduct signed by each Trustee. The Board and Committee take their accountability to all parties associated with the Charity very seriously and adhere to a Statement of Accountability, which can be viewed here.

Give with Confidence

As a member of the Fundraising Standards Board (FRSB), Evergreen Africa has made a public promise to adhere to best practice, honesty, transparency, clarity and accountability in all fundraising activity, enabling you to give with confidence.

We hope that our membership will build trust and confidence in charitable giving and, ultimately, encourage more people to provide vital support for the delivery of development aid projects in sub-Saharan Africa.

Our Fundraising Promise to You:
